When Richland County widened North Springs Rd. they cut the electric wiring that provided electricity to the south side of the entrance. Since the wiring had been installed in the County right of way they were not responsible for repairing it.
To repair the front entrance electric would cost well over $4000. To even get started on that that we would need to get a survey completed and apply for a permit from the county to drill under the roadway. The board has decided that to attempt this is too costly. We are exploring alternatives like solar lighting.
